Maria + Ryan = Happily ever after.  These two were just meant to be together. Maria's easy smile & Ryan's quiet sincerity made their pictures vibrant and moving. And I loved capturing some of the private moments between Ryan and his son ~ the stuff I live for!  We had a great backdrop for photos right behind the Hyatt on the waterfront, which is just what Maria had imagined those many mornings as she jogged down the promenade leading up to this day... so fun to finally make that real for you Maria!  Many thanks to my dynamic and very talented team that day, Courtney D'ne Brown and Kris Rupp.  Beautiful beautiful... here are some of the details from their day :)

a Year in Pictures

I simply had to walk 5 blocks to get to my new friend Samantha's house for her first (of three!) sessions. We are neighbores!  So awesome.  Samantha's cool mom and Dad signed up for my Year in Pictures Sessions, which means that I will have the great pleasure of documenting Samantha's milestones as she enteres into her first year of life... and this visit it was BUBBLES! Looking forward to the warmer months ahead when we will be able to take advantage of all the great photos spots around this fun neighborhood.  So great to meet you guys :)

Married on October 15, 2012

This post is especially sweet because it's of my bella cousin Jen's wedding.  I went out to LA just to enjoy myself as a guest, but I grabbed some shots throughout the day anyway ~ because I just couldn't help myself!  After all, how could I pass up capturing their 'I do's' in the middle of the Sierra Pelona Mountains? And Jen's magical smile as she made her way towards the man who stole her heart?  I mean, this is the girl that used to say 'ewww' when her mom sat her down in the sandbox to play, but on this day she emanated grace and ease as she swept her beautiful gown across the dust covered rocks on her way to Landon's side.  It was quite a vision!  And so, a few moments from this magical day...
