Tara + Pete/ weddings

said I DO! on November 6th, 2010

My hat goes off to Tara & Pete and their entire bridal party for rockin' out the portrait sessions despite the brisk windy day! And Tara totally surprised me with the coolest locations to shoot at too... nothing like an abandoned lot with a funky brick wall to get my creative juices churning ~ I'm serious! Courtney, Alena & I had so much fun capturing all their magical moments.... Congratulations on a beautiful day guys :)

Long Island City, NY engagement session

Lucy & Salvatore/ e-session

Wow!  I had such a hard time picking out just a FEW photos for this blog entry, every shot of these guys is amazing!  First we started at this rockin' graffiti park complete with an old train yard out back, then we ventured over to the Brooklyn waterfront for some great views of the city.  Lucy & Sal were totally on the whole shoot, so much fun to photograph!  I can't wait for the wedding :)  Hey all you newly engaged couples out there... how much fun does an e-session look?

The Bronx Zoo, New York

Jessica + Jason/ weddings
tied the knot on October 2nd, 2010

How cool is it to get married at the zoo??? And since Jessica & Jason are animal lovers and ultimately totally cool themselves, it makes perfect sense!  It was so fun to be shuttled around in the 'limo' golf carts, and they even stopped the bug carousel so the whole bridal party could get on.  Imagine having your cocktail hour in the Madagascar exhibit? It was awesome! And I loved all the animal themes for their tables, the love birds atop their cake, and their Vintage DJ Jonathan Jacobs was actually spinning records... this was definitely a party to remember.   What a beautiful venue ~ thanks Katherine Mackanin for making the day go so smoothly, and thanks J & J for your wonderful spirits and boundless energy, you two were a joy to photograph.   It was such a pleasure documenting your beautiful union :)
