Holiday Family Session, NYC Meatpacking District

It's holiday season! And what more perfect way to celebrate than by having a Family Holiday Portrait Session?! The pre-planning for a Holiday Shoot is part of the fun too because I know that it's in the little details that bring out the personality of each family. For Monica it was adding a little red, a few scarves and some antique lollipops.  Think about what details would make your Holiday Session sweet... ?

Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the post to see how Monica's Holiday cards turned out ;)

And Viola ~ Holiday Cards!
I love how the energy from our shoot is perfectly captured in these cards.  And the red is awesome!

East Village, NYC Family Session

I think I have said this before, but I will say it again, I LOVE SHOOTING IN NYC!  You never know what splashes of color you will find right around the corner; a splattering of green ivy with bright red blossoms spilling over a fence, a perfectly poised set of blue and yellow bar stools complete with a side of cappuccino awaiting your arrival, or a city block long wall of graffiti from A-Z.   The winners of my Annual School Auction Family Session and I took to the city streets last week and found lots of these sweet gems everywhere.  A special shout out to Sharon's wardrobe choices ~ I love the way her blue dress and Dean's red shirt pop in these photos! ( I would be lying if I didn't admit to searching out complementary and contrasting colors to make that happen ;) It was a pleasure meeting you guys.  Thanks for rocking out our session!
