Holiday Portrait Time!

Mini Session Fundraiser
Children's Workshop School

Sparking the love, soliciting a smile, fitting a pair of reindeer antlers on a kindergartner... all in a days shoot!! In collaboration with a fellow school parent and artist Oliver Michaels, we managed to catch the holiday spirit and keep the pencils stocked for a few more weeks... here are just a few of my favorites from the day... thanks everyone for your support!

and of course I had to sneak in there at the end and spread my wings...

Happy Holidays!

Newborn Session

Introducing Alden Grey
3 makes a family

It's a very special day when I get to hang out with a newborn.  I got to meet this little man when he was just 5 days new.  Awesome. Precious. Unspeakably cute.  And so the next chapter begins...

Belly Session

Awaiting Mister!
an afternoon with Amanda & Adam

One of the best things about shooting weddings? Getting invited over to document their next journey together...the wonder and magic of having a baby!  Two great people, one great big belly, one fun afternoon :)

...and I was just notified that Mister Alden Moore was safely ushered into this world on April 30th ~ Amanda, Adam & Alden all doing wonderfully.  Congratulations!  I can't wait to meet him next week and to photograph the three of them as a new family! Stay tuned for the next chapter...

Meagan & Nick/ weddings
at last ~ September 8th, 2012

It all started back in the summer of 2011 when Meagan & Nick & I spent the afternoon traipsing around Central Park rocking out their e-session photos ~ if you haven't seen them yet you really should check them out at: http://suzannesutcliffephotograpy.blogspot.com/2011/10/meagan-nick-e-session.html.  Then for the year in between our e-session & her wedding Meagan continued to light up my FB pages with her sweet comments. But now, I am HER biggest fan for being the coolest bride! They were true to form brimming with chemistry and spunk all day, but their true colors really shone through when they totally kept their cool as we watched a HUGE thunderstorm rolling in on us at the beginning of our long awaited photo session out on the city streets... we ran for cover as the wind & rain engulfed the neighborhood and determined to make the best of it, ended up creating some of my favorite images from the year under the train trestle... they turned a downpour into a smoldering hot photo shoot! Thank you guys for all your enthusiasm, trust & good times! Also a big nod to my trusty side kick Courtney D'ne Brown for her talent and steadfast vigilance.  Here are some details from their wedding, and also a sweet note they wrote after they saw their photos from the day... love you guys!!
