Monica + Steve/ weddings
sealed the deal on April 16th, 2011
What a pleasure it was to photograph Monica & Steve on their wedding day! Even though it rained cats and dogs and we kept having to rework our plans, they never missed a beat... laughing and enjoying themselves every minute. With Monica's infectious laugh and Steve's charm, I had loads of great photo ops all day :) We started at the Hotel W in Hoboken where I got one of my favorite shots from outside the balcony looking back at Monica while she was getting her make-up finished (you can see the storm clouds fast approaching!), then after a beautiful ceremony complete with dramatic thunder we headed to Stone House at Stirling Ridge, a totally awesome venue mixing modern & urban with open beam ceilings and lots of romantic candlelight. I was so grateful to the staff for actually serving us our dinner at the same time as the guests so I didn't miss a thing when the Starlight Orchestras launched into a powerhouse set and kept everyone rockin' out all night long. I am pretty sure the pair in the fish eye shot below never left the dance floor once! They say those wed in the rain are sealed together even tighter, so Monica & Steve... here is to an eternity of Love xx
